1. Carved Orange With Fruit Salad

Parents can carve these adorable jack-o’-lanterns. Kids can spoon in the easy fruit salad. Everyone will enjoy eating them!

Ingredients:

  • 4 navel oranges (if possible, select oranges that each “sit” on one end)
  • 1 cup grapes
  • 1 apple, chopped

Directions:

  1. Working over a large rimmed tray or baking pan to catch the juices, first carve a face on one side of each orange.
  2. Then, cut off “lids” from oranges.
  3. Later, Using a spoon, starting at the top, scrape inside of orange away from the peel until inside is mostly clean.

2. Apple Spiders

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 24 pretzel sticks

  1. Core and cut apple into 8 (¼-inch) slices.
  2. Spread 4 slices with peanut butter.
  3. Top with remaining apple slices.
  4. Insert 8 pretzels into peanut butter of each “spider” for legs, 4 on each side.

3. Banana Ghosts

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 6 pepitas, mini chocolate chips or raisins

  2. Arrange pepitas on the tapered end of banana halves to form the face, pressing lightly into the banana.
